My Sewing Nook!

A few weeks ago I brought my sewing machine from my parents house to mine and I had it sitting on my very small dining table because I didn't have a desk/space for it.  Yesterday I had a brilliant idea that I would use my green storage towers to keep all my sewing supplies.  I continued thinking and thought I could easily place a board across to bridge the two towers and create a "desk".  So, that's exactly what I did, and it worked out smashingly!  I found this big bulletin board at my office that wasn't being used and now voila, my sewing nook!  I'm quite impressed with it.  Now I just want to sew sew sew!

Buttons buttons buttons

I just learnt how to put buttons on my blog to link to some of my favourite blogs!  Hope you enjoy!  I'm also in the process of making my own buttons, but not for my blog, for some clothes!  I will share my knowledge once I have acquired it!

I have a green thumb...

On March 8th I planted a bunch of herbs and plants in pots for inside my house and yesterday I saw evidence of growth!  This morning when I checked on them, my Dill is already 2 or 3 cm high, and my Basil is coming up too, not as tall but there are more little plants growing!  :) I will post pics as soon as I bring my camera to camp! 

Learning the ways of google!

So I am a big fan of google!  I have had my gmail account for a number of years, but only this last summer did I start using google calendar and docs, which are amazing and keep me organized!!  So in the last few months I've been trying out other google things, and this last week I've been trying out Buzz, Reader, Books, Translate etc, and I have to say, Google is AMAZING!!!  Thank-you to all Google employees who have made my life more organized!
